Issue: Unable to Delete a Fleet User in PZU iFlota

If you are unable to delete a fleet user from the system, follow these troubleshooting steps:


1. Check User Permissions

  • Admin Rights Required: Ensure that your account has Admin privileges. Only users with Admin rights can delete other users in the system.

2. Verify User Status

  • Active or Pending Users:
    • If the user's status is marked as active (green checkmark), you should be able to remove them by clicking the trash bin icon in the Remove column.
    • If the user is pending activation (red icon), ensure they are no longer required before attempting to delete.

3. Steps to Delete a User

  1. Go to the Access Management section from the dashboard.
  2. Locate the user you wish to delete in the user list.
  3. Click the trash bin icon under the Remove column for that user.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up prompt.

4. Common Reasons for Deletion Failure

A. Insufficient Permissions

  • Possible Cause: Your account lacks the necessary permissions to delete users.
  • Solution: Contact another Admin user or the PZU iFlota account manager to grant you Admin rights or delete the user on your behalf.

B. User Linked to Active Records

  • Possible Cause: The user may be linked to ongoing processes or active vehicle groups.
  • Solution:
    • Check if the user is assigned to any active vehicle groups or processes in the Vehicle Groups section.
    • Reassign or deactivate their involvement in those groups before attempting deletion.

C. System Error

  • Possible Cause: A temporary glitch in the system may prevent the deletion process.
  • Solution:
    • Log out and log back into the system to refresh your session.
    • Try deleting the user again.
