In the PZU iFlota system, vehicles cannot be permanently deleted from the system. Instead, vehicles can be marked as inactive. Here’s how to manage vehicles you no longer need to actively track:
Steps to Mark a Vehicle as Inactive
Access the Vehicle List:
- Navigate to the Metrics section and go to Vehicles.
- Find the vehicle you want to update.
Edit Vehicle Status:
- Click the Edit button next to the selected vehicle or open its profile.
- Locate the Status dropdown menu in the vehicle’s profile.
Change the Status:
- Select Inactive from the dropdown.
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
Impact of Inactive Status:
- Once marked inactive, the vehicle will no longer appear in active vehicle lists but will remain in the system for record-keeping purposes.
Why Can't Vehicles Be Deleted?
- Compliance and Record Keeping: Retaining vehicle data ensures compliance with fleet management regulations and allows for historical reporting and auditing.
- System Integrity: Deleting vehicles could lead to discrepancies in historical claims, maintenance records, and other fleet-related data.
